Gear pump working method
Because gear pumps are classified into 2 types, namely external and internal, the way the gear pump works is as follows.
In the external gear, the teeth of the pump form an empty space through the mesh between the teeth and the liquid flows through the cavities between the teeth. After that the liquid is pressed between the meshes and then pushed towards the discharge hole.
While the internal gear pump uses 2 elements in the form of teeth that turn around to form an isolated chamber (sealed chamber). This isolation space varies in volume along with the rotating elements in the form of teeth.
The fluid will enter an isolated space which will initially experience enlargement and then experience narrowing.
